6–8 PM Ride the Animals: An Exploration in Soft Spaces Opening Reception (free with RSVP)
Street Theory Gallery presents Ride the Animals: An Exploration in Soft Spaces is an immersive exhibition that moves through memory, migration, and belonging with paintings and 3D objects, culminating in a central space where rideable animal sculptures shift the experience from observation to embodiment.
Rooted in African diasporic and Caribbean references, the work holds tension between preservation and assimilation while making space for joy, softness, and care.
What is carrying you, and what are you carrying?
